Learn the ways of the fore-bearers and make the most of the resources around you. This series will include hands-on lessons where you can plan on getting your hands dirty canning, chopping, kneading, stirring & planting. Attend all three or join each one separately.
April 25: Composting at home explained and made simple! Ever wanted to be more sustainable? Learn how to make your own simple composing container.
May 9: Make your own sourdough starter! You'll have a week of reminders with a group to ensure the success of your starter. Then get a follow-up sourdough recipe for beginners once your starter is thriving!
May 16: Get your hands in the dirt and learn about companion planting like the three sisters planting method, or more simply: marigolds + tomatoes, plus other general gardening tips for beginners.
To help us plan for food and supplies, registration and payment is required by Thursday, April 18th. Please complete a separate form for each individual.
Participation is limited to the first 15 paid registrations.
Since supplies are purchased in advance, we cannot offer refunds within seven days of the event except in special situations. Thank you for understanding!
