Growing Together (Ages 8-13)
Cost: $80
This four-part camp focuses on a different aspect of gardening throughout the summer as we dig into our education plot in the community garden. From planting all the way to harvest, gardeners get the chance to tend to their plants and see what sprouts!

Grandparents Camp (for ages 4-10 with grandparents)
Cost: $20/Child *Adults participate for free
Grandpeople and their grandkids create shared memories through unique experiences at this single-day camp. The day includes free choice time indoors and outdoors, storytime, guided outdoor exploration, creative activities, and take-home ideas.
Nature Night (Ages 6th-8th Grade)
Cost:$25
Calling all middle schoolers to come kick off summer and hang out at Prairie Loft for the evening. We will go on a hike, play games, hang out in the hammocks, stargaze, and make hot dogs and s’mores!
Grandparents Camp (for ages 4-10 with grandparents)
Cost: $20/Child *Adults participate for free

Nature Artists (ages 7-10)
Time 9:00am-2:00pm each day
Cost: $70
Use materials and inspiration from nature to create your own masterpiece! Make paint out of berries or use a leaf as a brush. We will explore Prairie Loft while becoming true nature artists!
Little Sprouts (age 3)
Time: 9:00-11:30am
Cost:$20
This camp is for curious and independent littles! We will read a story, hunt for some bugs, learn what plants need to grow, and PLAY!
Farmers and Growers (ages 7-10)
Time 9:00am-2:00pm each day
Cost: $70
Come explore where our food comes from and how we can grow it ourselves. These 3 days will be filled with opportunities to find and create ways to beat the heat and discover the similarities between large farms, small gardens, and everything in between!
Dirt Day (Ages 8-13)
Time: 9:00-4:00
Cost: $35
This camp is for kids who love to wonder, explore, and get a little messy. This one-day camp for young environmental stewards will include free choice time, outdoor exploration, creative science, and take-home projects. We will actively explore soil, water, geology, and underground ecosystems.
Evening Explorers (Ages 4-6)
Cost $20
Time: 6-8:30pm
Come see what happens when the sun starts to go down on the farm and find out what kinds of creatures thrive after dark. Activities include, games, free time, a dusk hike, and fun projects! There will be one session for 4-6 year-olds and one session for 7-10 year-olds.

Plant Power

Did you know some plants have superpowers? Explore Prairie Loft while collecting (and eating) wood sorrel, mulberries, purslane, and more! Camp will include free choice time, outdoor exploration, creative science, and take-home projects, while we discover the amazing medicinal and special uses for native plants that we have in our own fields and backyards!
Toddler Camp (Ages 0-5)
Time: 9:30-11:00am
Cost:$20 per family
Toddler camp is for those who like to get outside and maybe even get a little dirty... We will have a story-time, go for a short hike, and make lots of cool nature discoveries! Siblings and parents welcome!

This 3 day camp takes a look at what grows on a farm and where the food we eat every day comes from. See what farmers do everyday while inspecting the fields and checking on the barns.

This hands-on camp takes a look at local agriculture and how that compares to what farming in different cultures is like! We will have tons of fun as we take a look at what other countries and climates produce and investigate why that may be the case. (We recommend attending Farmers and Growers camp first, but it is not a requirement.)

Water is vital for all living things, including the plants and crops we eat! Expect to get wet as we play games and go on adventures to dive into the importance of irrigation and experiment with ways to use our water wisely.

Register for Summer Camp at Prairie Loft!
Prairie Loft summer camps provide active and safe outdoor experiences. To keep children as safe as possible, we will follow the guidelines and policies outlined below.
CAMP
GUIDELINES
Each session will be limited to 8-16 campers with 3-4 staff. Camp staff will remain consistent throughout each camp session.
Activities will primarily take place outdoors.
If you have questions about these camps, registration or refunds, or our safety measures or policies, we encourage you to reach out and request a conversation.

POLICIES
Please read all camp forms and correspondence carefully for details and information about camp.
All registrations are accepted on a first-come, first-served basis. Registrations received on weekends or holidays will not be processed until the next business day.
Please make sure your child is dressed appropriately for camp. We require closed-toe shoes. Campers may not be able to participate in activities if not properly dressed for their safety. Please bring a water bottle, sunscreen, a sun hat, and bug spray.
Students must be dropped off within 15 minutes prior to camp start time and must be picked up no more than 15 minutes after the end of camp each day.
If your child is sick or unable to attend camp, please notify us by phone or e-mail so that we may contact program staff.
Prairie Loft reserves the right to remove any child from camp because of disruptive or unsafe behavior. Parents will be notified and asked to pick their child up early. No refunds will be given in this event.
Payment and Refund Policies
Payment is due at the time of registration unless other arrangements have been made. Should the registration be canceled, the refund policy will be as follows, or the registration can be donated to (and greatly appreciated by) Prairie Loft. No partial refunds are given if the camper attends only part of a session.

25% Less than 14 days before the session
2024 Summer Recap
The 2024 Summer camp season was one for the books! Prairie Loft hosted over 250 campers and offered seven different themes to choose from. Thank you to everyone who helped make camp so special. Because of your support, campers were able to learn about where their food comes from while exploring the outdoors and having fun. See you next summer!
